Resize and crop photos online, for free
Need a smaller picture for a form, a website or a message? Image Tools resizes and crops photos in your browser, in a few clicks, without uploading them.
Set the size you need
Open Image Tools, choose Image Editor and add your photo. Then choose Image > Image size and type the width or the height in pixels. Keep the proportions locked so the picture does not get stretched, or unlock them when you need an exact shape. The Crop tool can be free or follow a ratio such as 1:1, 4:3 or 16:9.
Smaller pictures load faster on a website, fit the limits of upload forms and are easier to send by email or in a chat. Use the result as it is, or keep editing it in the same editor.
Choose the format and the quality
Choose File > Export as and pick PNG, JPG or WebP, or AVIF and more. For photographs, JPG and WebP give small files, and you can lower the quality a little to make them smaller still. PNG keeps transparency, which is handy for logos and cutouts. To resize many pictures at once, the Image Converter & Compressor shrinks a whole batch with its Longest side setting.
Fast, free and private
The picture is processed on your device. It is not uploaded to a server, so you can resize personal photos and documents with peace of mind. There is no account to create, no watermark on the result and no daily limit, so you can resize as many pictures as you like.
Supported formats
- Open: JPG, PNG, WebP, PSD and other formats your browser reads
- Export: PNG, JPG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, BMP, ICO, TIFF, PSD, PDF
